Biography
Born in Athens, Greece and grew up partly in the Lake Geneva area of Switzerland. The beauty of these two locations gave him the initial inspiration for his love of landscapes both in snow covered mountains (which later led him to the Polar regions) and by the sea or more recently under the sea..
Attracted from a young age to all things technical, photography was the natural intersection with the artistic that would later let him attempt to reveal a beautiful world in which we live.
His passion for the stars also came during childhood and became the stimulus for his astrophotography. His years as a physics student gave him, if not a better comprehension, at least a craving for the infinite universe beyond our pale blue dot.
He has been exhibited and shortlisted on various occasions, notably at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, by the Royal Photographic Society, by the HIPA awards and at the Eugenides Foundation in Athens. He is a licentiate of the RPS since 2016.
